I have to apologize for having been AWOL for a couple of weeks. Of course, good intentions are just those unless they are executed.
Of course, the reason is not so good. My lovely wife has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma...again. Yes it's come back. Needless to say, those words from the doc were not welcome, were not expected (as she has no sypmtoms), and were not what we thought we would be telling our family and friends during her one year check-up for being in remission.
Again, though, the outlook is good. With this regimen of chemo and a bone marrow transplant (they are harvesting her "good" bone marrow after chemo), the cancer should be kicked to the curb again! Especially if my stubborn, lovely, with-a-will to-live-no-one-can-match, Irish wife has anything to do about it!
She starts after the new year, and goes until the bone marrow transplant is over and she is in remission. This could take until May.
Keep her in your thoughts, prayers, good energy...we accept all who wish her well! And for pete's sake, have a GREAT NEW YEAR!!! You never know when you may not be able to enjoy it. Give all your family and friends big hugs...
